About Cheryl

In 2013 Cheryl took a beginning fused glass workshop out of curiosity and then became entranced. She continues her development as a glass artist through additional workshops with local, national and internationally known glass artists and experimentation (and mistakes) in her studio. She has won awards on a local level for her work.

As a result of being outside all the time growing up, studying geology and geophysics in college, and volunteering with various local environmental groups, Cheryl has come to learn and appreciate nature. She tries to reflect the beauty of nature, especially the local environment, in many of her pieces.

Before working in fused glass, Cheryl received a BS in geology and geophysics from Boston College, then worked as a geophysicist for approximately 19 years.
